House Attendant

About the Role

Galleria Park Hotel in San Francisco is seeking a dedicated House Attendant passionate about fostering positive relationships and supporting both guests and team members. The hotel, located near the Financial District with excellent dining, shopping, and transportation options, ranks among the top 10 hotels in the city on TripAdvisor. The hourly wage for this position is $29.00.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel services, features, and local attractions to assist guest inquiries proactively.
• Perform general cleaning tasks diligently and efficiently, including regular check-ins with supervisors for additional duties.
• Stock and organize cleaning carts, linen closets, and housekeeping storage areas with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and properly.
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and order of guest rooms, hallways, storage areas, and public spaces by tasks such as trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, waxing floors, and organizing items.
• Comply with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards when handling potentially hazardous materials or cleanup of bodily fluids.
• Maintain accurate control and security of keys, buildings, and vehicles.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly according to procedures.
• Manage lost and found items as per hotel policy.
• Punctually report to work as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or a minimum of six months related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Previous experience in hospitality within a Four Diamond level property is an advantage.
• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
