About the Role

Join our Hotel team as a Hotel Porter, where your key mission will be to uphold exemplary cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout both guest-facing and behind-the-scenes areas of the hotel. You will play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, partners, and staff, especially during nighttime hours. Your contribution will directly support the efficient and profitable operation of the hotel aligned with both business and team goals. Note that applicants must be at least 18 years of age for this position.

Key Duties

• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting the housekeeping team in cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, and Airbnb accommodations.
• Act as a brand ambassador by warmly and consistently providing excellent customer service that stands out in the market.
• Address and resolve customer concerns promptly at the initial point of contact.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance across the entire estate, indoors and outdoors.
• Perform laundry runs across the estate; possession of a valid UK driving licence is mandatory.
• Collaborate with Events Coordinators to organize and execute room setups as required.
• Prepare the Conference Centre for the following day's activities.
• Fulfill Night Porter responsibilities, including hours and duties, when the regular Night Porter is absent.
• Support the Maintenance team in preserving the external and internal cleanliness of the premises.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Possession of a full UK driving licence.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and efficiency under pressure as the role can be physically and mentally demanding.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or familiarity with hotel environments.
• First aid certification is advantageous.
