Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Hotel Manager to lead day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, financial success, operational efficiency, and staff engagement. As a pivotal member of the leadership team, this role involves working closely with the General Manager and department heads to drive business growth, foster talent development, and uphold brand standards while managing the hotel’s commercial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations across all hotel departments, maintaining the highest service standards and operational quality.
- Ensure consistent adherence to Avani brand standards and manage hotel assets and infrastructure effectively.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Support profitability goals by managing revenue, budgets, and expenses, optimizing revenues across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Meetings & Events, and ancillary services.
- Analyze operational data to inform strategic decisions and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management teams to maximize results.
- Foster a guest-centric culture focused on exceeding expectations and handling service recovery promptly.
- Serve as a visible leader, building strong relationships with guests, clients, and stakeholders.
- Inspire, coach, and develop department heads and their teams, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and service excellence.
- Lead employee engagement, talent development, succession planning, and compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, environmental, and regulatory standards, maintain internal controls and audit readiness, and promote a strong culture of compliance.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Tourism Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 8 years' hospitality industry management experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership within hotels, resorts, or integrated hospitality operations.
- Proven expertise in managing multi-department hotel operations with strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
- Track record of enhancing operational performance and guest satisfaction coupled with leadership of large, diverse teams.
- Preferred: Postgraduate qualifications (MBA or Master’s), experience in internationally branded hotels, resort/leisure/gaming operations, and regional or multi-property leadership.
