Position Summary

As a Hostess at W Hotels in Dubai, you will warmly welcome guests, assess the size of their party, and escort them to available, clean tables. Your duties include setting up tables with clean and current menus, arranging chairs, and ensuring all place settings meet company standards, including napkins and silverware. You will assist guests throughout their dining experience and organize seating for parties with special needs. Regularly check the menus to ensure they are pristine and abundant.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas by practicing "clean-as-you-go" procedures and continuously monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and comfort. Follow all company policies, including safety and security guidelines, promptly report any accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete necessary safety trainings. Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of company information and assets. Interact professionally with guests and colleagues, answer phone calls courteously, and foster positive team relationships.

Be prepared to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods and physically manage objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisors as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. No prior experience or supervisory background is required, nor are licenses or certifications necessary.
