Role Overview

We are currently searching for a Host or Hostess who takes pride in delivering warm and genuine service. Your primary responsibility will be to cordially welcome guests as they enter and depart the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and pleasant flow throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests by opening doors upon arrival and departure, contributing approximately 40% of the role's duties.
• Address special seating needs such as providing boosters, high chairs, and accommodating disabilities, accounting for around 35% of activities.
• Manage the waitlist efficiently when the venue reaches full capacity, about 10% of the role.
• Offer assistance to servers as required, making up roughly 5% of job tasks.
• Keep the work area tidy and perform cleaning tasks as assigned, approximately 5% of responsibilities.
• Encourage guests to return for future visits, about 5% of duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Genuine enthusiasm for caring for others with a mindset geared toward growth and learning.
• Positive and welcoming attitude.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Physical stamina to remain mobile throughout an entire shift.
• Capability to transport up to 15 pounds repeatedly (up to 15 times per shift), such as moving high chairs.
• Ability to clean tabletops, table legs, booth seats, and pick up debris to maintain restaurant cleanliness.

Physical Requirements

This role entails certain physical demands, including navigating the restaurant facility, communicating clearly with guests, lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally, bending, stooping, and having sufficient vision to assess cleanliness and operate touchscreen devices. Compensation & Equal Opportunity
