Hospitality Trainer

Overview

Pinch Lifestyle Services seeks a Training & Development specialist dedicated to designing and delivering training programs for frontline and operational staff across several properties in Mumbai. This role includes frequent travel to varied locations to assess training needs and roll out effective educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly visit different properties to evaluate and address training requirements.
• Develop and execute training programs tailored for blue-collar and frontline employees, including housekeeping, kitchen, service, steward, driver/support, and other operational teams.
• Create comprehensive training materials such as modules, SOP-based content, presentations, handbooks, and checklists that are clear and actionable for employees.
• Deliver practical, classroom, and on-the-job training sessions to enhance skill acquisition.
• Collaborate with property management and department leads to identify skills gaps and specific training demands.
• Conduct induction sessions for new hires and refresher courses for existing staff.
• Evaluate the impact of training through feedback collection, assessments, and observation of performance improvements.
• Maintain detailed records of training activities, scheduling, attendance, and reporting.
• Standardize training approaches across varied properties while customizing content to fit individual locations' needs.
• Identify repetitive operational challenges and tailor targeted training solutions accordingly.
• Travel as necessary to support training initiatives across different locations.

• Housekeeping processes and standard operating procedures.
• Hygiene and safety within kitchens, along with fundamental culinary techniques.
• Guest service standards and etiquette.
• Personal grooming and hygiene standards.
• Workplace discipline and professional behavior.

• Property-specific SOPs related to customer interaction and team dynamics.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced in Training & Development or Learning & Development roles, preferably within hospitality sectors.
• Familiarity working with operational, frontline, and blue-collar teams.
• Background in hospitality, hotel management, luxury services, or facilities management is advantageous.
• Strong skills in independently creating engaging training content and materials.
• Comfortable with hands-on training delivery beyond theoretical sessions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel regularly to multiple property sites.
• Ability to translate operational needs into pragmatic, effective training programs.
