Join Orkin as a Home Services Technician specializing as a Termite Pro, earning between $20 and $22 hourly with potential monthly bonus incentives. With over 125 years of industry leadership in pest control and home services, Orkin emphasizes safety as a priority for both employees and customers. This role involves important home service installations that enhance comfort and safety, providing a rewarding career with room for growth.
Work Schedule
- 3:13s: Work three 13-hour shifts, enjoying four consecutive days off weekly.
- 4:10s: Work four 10-hour shifts for shorter days and three days off weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily assigned routes within your service territory.
- Install home services such as attic remediations, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barriers.
- Maintain accurate service documentation for all installations and services.
- Foster trusted customer relationships and represent Orkin professionally.
- Operate safely in various environments including rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, and confined areas.
- Drive a company vehicle responsibly and safely.
- Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Consistently maintain high safety standards in equipment use, work settings, and customer engagement.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Readiness to work in physically diverse and occasionally challenging environments.
- A dependable, professional attitude with a strong focus on safety.
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to earn any required state certifications; the company provides training and pays associated fees.
- Capability to safely use ladders according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable accessing crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, and confined spaces, including performing physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including OSHA-compliant respirators when necessary.
- Prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
