Role Overview

This full-time role, based on-site in the United Arab Emirates, involves performing general labor and maintenance duties within oil and gas sites. Tasks include cleaning designated work areas, managing materials, and aiding with the setup and dismantling of equipment. The Roustabout will assist drilling and production activities, handle the loading and unloading of supplies, and operate basic tools and machinery under guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine general labor and maintenance tasks across oil and gas operations.
• Ensure cleanliness of work locations and proper material handling.
• Support assembly and disassembly of operational equipment.
• Assist with drilling and production site functions.
• Load and unload supplies and equipment safely.
• Operate fundamental tools and machinery according to safety protocols under supervision.
• Comply strictly with safety procedures and report any potential hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Work effectively with supervisors and team members to maintain smooth site operations.
• Perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

Candidate Requirements

• Capability to undertake physically intensive labor such as lifting, carrying, and climbing in outdoor and industrial settings.
• Basic mechanical knowledge with experience or familiarity in using hand tools and performing routine equipment care.
• Strong dedication to occupational health and safety standards, including consistent use of personal protective equipment and adherence to HSE policies.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions, fostering effective teamwork.
• Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and extended hours as needed by operational needs.
• Prior involvement in oil and gas, construction, or similar industrial labor roles is a plus but not mandatory.
• Educational background at high school level or equivalent preferred, with vocational or safety certifications (such as basic HSE training) considered an asset.
• Must have legal eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates and comply with applicable local laws and corporate regulations.
