Key Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality service to customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Promote and uphold safety and cleanliness throughout the department.
• Support the department manager in achieving sales and profit targets.
• Encourage associates to prioritize customer service by embracing the Customer 1st strategy.
• Answer product-related customer inquiries and suggest suitable items.
• Offer product samples to introduce customers to new or featured items.
• Communicate current specials and promotions for Drug GM and Home products.
• Check product “sell by” dates and take necessary actions to maintain quality standards.
• Label, stock, and manage inventory for department merchandise.
• Report ordering or shipment discrepancies to management promptly.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
• Stay informed about current and upcoming seasonal and special advertisements.
• Comply with all safety programs, report hazards, and ensure equipment maintenance is conducted timely.
• Inform management of any customer or employee incidents, as well as criminal activities such as theft or fraud.
• Perform all essential duties with or without accommodations as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to handle stressful scenarios calmly and effectively.
• Strong communication capabilities.
• Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in a second language through speaking, reading, or writing is desirable.
