About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Iceland Foods, a well-established employer committed to excellent customer service and team welfare. This position involves delivering groceries to customers while representing the Iceland brand positively and maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform safe loading of delivery vans while handling heavy items and practicing proper manual handling techniques.
• Adhere strictly to all safe driving policies and practices while on the road.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before deliveries to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain the quality of food and grocery items during transportation to ensure they reach customers in optimal condition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and engage positively with customers upon delivery.
• Assist with various tasks in-store when necessary.
• Manage time independently and efficiently while working alone during shifts that may vary from early morning to late evening.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full driving license held for a minimum of three years without exceeding six penalty points.
• A friendly and positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience.
• Strong punctuality and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrated keen awareness of road safety regulations and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• An hourly wage of 13.71.
