Home Delivery Driver

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe loading of delivery vans, including manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Adhere consistently to all safe driving principles and regulations.
• Conduct routine checks of delivery vehicles before starting routes.
• Deliver groceries ensuring items reach customers in excellent condition.
• Provide high-quality, friendly customer service as the primary face of the company during deliveries.
• Assist with store duties when necessary.
• Work efficiently independently and manage time effectively.
• Be flexible with shift patterns which may vary from early morning (6am) to late evening (11pm).

Requirements

• Hold a full driving license for at least three years and possess no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, approachable demeanour and enthusiasm for offering outstanding customer experiences.
• Demonstrate punctuality and ability to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a strong commitment to road safety awareness.
