Store Manager Designate

About the Role

Heron Foods is a fast-growing retailer with over 340 stores and expanding. As a Store Manager Designate based in Priory, Spring Bank West, Hull (HU5 5HDS), you will play a key leadership role, overseeing store performance and operations. The position involves working 45 hours per week with an annual salary of £30,920.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the store team, including hiring, training, and conducting performance reviews.
• Maintain product availability through effective stock management and ensure accurate pricing.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer issues promptly.
• Control wage expenses, protect company assets, and enhance profitability.
• Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations and merchandising standards, maintaining a clean and appealing environment.
• Set and achieve sales goals, motivating the team towards these targets.

• Proven experience in a Store Manager role, ideally within a busy retail setting.
• Strong leadership abilities to inspire and develop team members.
