Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, adaptable, and skilled Qualified Plumber to join our friendly Maintenance Operatives team. This role primarily serves the Greater Manchester and North West regions, providing high-quality first-line maintenance services across several locations while respecting our tenants and their properties.
Work Details
The Mobile Maintenance Team convenes every Monday morning at 8:30 AM at our Head Office in Stockport for a maintenance meeting, along with other scheduled meetings throughout the week.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing components such as pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures including sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
- Inspect plumbing setups to diagnose leaks, blockages, and other issues promptly.
- Respond efficiently to plumbing emergencies and perform effective repairs.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a valid full driving license; a vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
- Participation in the On Call Rota is mandatory, with additional compensation for on-call duties, including flat-rate and enhanced payments for call-outs.
