Home Delivery Driver (Inside M25)

Role Overview

We are searching for a Home Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team in Walthamstow, England, serving as the welcoming face of Iceland Foods. This position involves delivering groceries safely and efficiently while engaging positively with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow proper van loading protocols including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Maintain strict adherence to safe driving regulations at all times.
• Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Deliver food items ensuring they arrive in excellent condition.
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with store operations when necessary.
• Work independently with strong time management skills.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work variable shifts between 6am and 11pm.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Possess a full driving license held for at least three years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Exude a positive, friendly attitude with a passion for excellent customer service.
• Display punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Have a solid awareness of road safety practices.
