Overview
Our stores operate in dynamic, fast-paced settings where variety is guaranteed daily and a passion for food drives our mission. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will be an essential part of ensuring online customers receive their groceries efficiently and in excellent condition.
Key Duties
- Operate a 3.5-tonne van to deliver groceries punctually and in excellent condition directly to customers' doorsteps.
- Conduct thorough van inspections to ensure it is clean, organised, safe, and delivery cases are secure before setting out.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing questions, managing substitutions, and communicating any delays effectively.
- Develop solid knowledge of our product range, services, and current promotions to provide helpful recommendations.
- Assist within the store during periods when deliveries are not being made.
Candidate Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old and possess a full UK/EU driving license held for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Complete an online driving risk assessment as part of the interview process and a practical driving assessment after onboarding.
- Have legal eligibility to work in the UK.

- Confident driving a large vehicle across a variety of environments including busy streets and narrow country lanes.
- Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, physically demanding settings, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing and able to flexibly support various store tasks with full training provided to develop multiple skills.
- Comfortable with using new digital technology and capable of handling shopping containers up to 15 kg.
- Operate within a safety-focused driving culture supported by in-cab AI cameras monitoring driver behaviour for road law compliance and defensive driving.
