About the Role

We are seeking proactive Home Delivery Drivers to join our team at Iceland Foods located in Burton Upon Trent. This position involves delivering shopping orders efficiently while embodying the friendly face of Iceland.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow safe procedures to load the delivery van, including managing heavy lifting and manual handling correctly.
• Adhere strictly to all safe driving practices to ensure road safety.
• Perform thorough van inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards.
• Ensure deliveries arrive to customers in optimal condition.
• Deliver excellent customer service during all interactions.
• Assist with in-store duties when required.
• Work independently whilst managing your time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Be flexible to work shifts that vary between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a full driving license for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Display a positive and personable attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality customer service.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines reliably.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding and commitment to road safety regulations.
