About the Role

Iceland Foods is seeking dependable Home Delivery Drivers to join their Christchurch team. This role involves delivering groceries safely and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service as the face of the company. The position requires adherence to safe driving and loading protocols, maintaining van condition, and occasional support in store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load delivery vans, including manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Uphold safe driving standards at all times on the road.
• Perform routine vehicle checks prior to deliveries.
• Ensure groceries are delivered in excellent condition to customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive interactions.
• Assist with in-store tasks when necessary.
• Manage time effectively and work independently.
• Work varied shifts with flexibility between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• A friendly, positive attitude with commitment to superior customer experiences.
• Strong punctuality and ability to meet deadlines.
• Heightened road safety awareness.
