About the Role

Iceland Foods is seeking dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to join their team in Tyne And Wear. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy active work, value independence, and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service. You'll play a vital part as the face of Iceland, delivering groceries and interacting directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load delivery vans, including handling heavy items with proper manual lifting techniques.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving practices at all times.
• Conduct thorough van checks to ensure vehicle readiness.
• Guarantee that food products arrive at customers in excellent condition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during each interaction.
• Assist in store operations when needed.
• Work independently, managing your own time and tasks effectively.
• Maintain flexibility to work various shifts, ranging from early mornings at 6 am to late evenings until 11 pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full driving license for a minimum of three years, with no more than six penalty points.
• A positive and friendly attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• A strong understanding and practice of road safety principles.
