Home Automation Technician

Role Overview

Trade Tech International is seeking a skilled Home Automation Technician based in Dubai. The technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining smart home and building automation solutions. This role demands expertise in electrical systems, networking, and smart device integration, along with strong diagnostic skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and set up home automation systems such as lighting, curtains, HVAC, security, access control, audio/video, and various smart devices.
• Handle wiring, cabling, and device installation tasks effectively.
• Program and configure automation controllers and associated smart devices.
• Conduct tests to verify system functionality post-installation.
• Troubleshoot issues and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Perform site inspections, assess client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Offer technical support and guide customers on system operations.
• Collaborate with electricians, engineers, and other technicians throughout project execution.
• Maintain detailed installation documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum secondary education equivalent to 10th grade (Matric).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in home automation or smart device installation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and cabling techniques.
• Hands-on experience with smart home device configuration and system integration.
• Male candidates aged between 20 to 40 years are preferred.

Additional Details

• Employment is full-time and strictly on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Salary ranges from AED 2,000 to AED 4,000 per month.
• Day shift working hours.
• Openings available: 10 vacancies.
