Job Overview
At Rosauers Supermarkets, the Helper Clerk position is key to delivering a pleasing and effortless shopping experience. This role involves warmly assisting customers, carefully handling merchandise, and maintaining a tidy, inviting store atmosphere to ensure patrons leave with positive impressions.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter and exit the store.
- Respond to customer inquiries, help locate items, and offer product suggestions.
- Support customers and cashiers in verifying prices accurately.
- Assist with unpacking shipments as they arrive.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking lot area.
- Provide carry-out services for customers who need help transporting purchases.
- Manage special orders for out-of-stock products.
- Apply price labels or stickers to items.
- Conduct price checks upon request from cashiers or customers.
- Place promotional signage on shelves or racks as needed.
- Help customers find products within the store.
- Perform any additional duties that contribute to store success.
