Job Responsibilities

• Perform sweeping, mopping, and washing of floors, stairs, and other interior surfaces in buildings.
• Carry out stripping, waxing, steam cleaning of carpets, and window cleaning when specifically requested.
• Clean windowsills, interior glass doors, partitions, and designated windows thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrance doors glass and trim, both inside and outside; daily spot cleaning of interior walls as needed.
• Clean restrooms daily including restocking paper products, wiping glass surfaces, emptying waste baskets, servicing soap and toilet dispensers, dusting, scrubbing tiles, partitions, and floors.
• Assist supervisors with additional tasks as required.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues such as clogged urinals and faulty lighting to supervisors.
• Travel between two buildings across the street which have shower facilities.
• Collect trash daily from the building and place it in designated containers for removal; replace waste container liners according to specifications.
• Perform high dusting and wall washing duties.
• Operate heavy-duty cleaning machines, manage compactors, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions independently and work cooperatively as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in using various cleaning tools and equipment.
• Must possess personal transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong attention to detail, pride in quality service, good organizational skills, and physical stamina required.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check is mandatory.
