Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with daily personal care activities such as washing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Supporting clients’ mobility and encouraging independence
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment for clients
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a full Irish driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Holding QQI Level 5 certification or an equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated caring, reliable, and positive attitude
- Previous experience in caregiving is advantageous but not mandatory
New to Caregiving?
Candidates coming from retail, hospitality, or customer service backgrounds possess valuable people skills essential for caregiving. Comprehensive training and support will be provided to help you launch your career in healthcare.
