Job description
Position Overview
The Head Restaurant Insider plays a vital role in ensuring seamless teamwork among staff to deliver exceptional guest service. Key duties include monitoring staff grooming and attire, performing opening and closing tasks such as setting up supplies and cleaning equipment, and securing the premises. This role also involves inspecting storage areas to maintain order, cleanliness, and compliance with FIFO principles, conducting inventory checks, and managing supply requisitions.
In addition, the incumbent oversees dining room operations to manage seating availability, maintain safety standards, and ensure guests' comfort. They process maintenance requests and assist management with core HR functions including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Serving as a role model, this position supports the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy as the primary employee contact.

The Head Restaurant Insider strictly follows company and safety protocols, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly. They complete all required safety training and certifications while maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. The role requires professional communication skills, welcoming guests according to company standards, anticipating their needs, and supporting individuals with disabilities.

Physical and Functional Requirements
- Visual inspection of equipment and information; ensure defect-free tools and machines
- Standing, sitting, or walking throughout work shifts
- Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds independently
- Manual dexterity requiring fine motor coordination
- Navigating confined or elevated spaces, stairs, and ramps
- Bending, twisting, reaching overhead and below knees

Qualifications
- Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a related field
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- No specific licenses or certifications required
