Role Impact and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Partner Ecosystem & Programs for the broader Asia Pacific Japan Middle East & Africa region (APJ+MEA), this leadership position oversees the creation and management of a team dedicated to the growth, engagement, and success of the Partner Ecosystem throughout Asia Pacific.

Key segments served include Distributors & Resellers, System Integrators, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and Cloud Service Providers. Core duties involve:

  • Leading and scaling the partner ecosystem team in alignment with annual business growth targets.
  • Driving operational excellence within the team.
  • Maintaining accountability through regular progress management and reporting.
  • Utilizing data-driven methodologies for business planning and analysis.
  • Coordinating stakeholders both internally and externally to realize business objectives.
  • Collaborating to design mutually beneficial partnership arrangements.
  • Guiding the team in planning, partner engagement, enablement, demand generation, pipeline oversight, contracting, transactions, and customer success initiatives.
  • Exchanging best practices with regional partner leaders and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing direct or distributed teams.
  • Operational experience across Asia Pacific markets, specifically Australia & New Zealand, Greater China (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan), India, Korea, and Southeast Asia.
  • Background in enterprise software sales and management, encompassing both direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Experience collaborating with major software providers such as SAP, Microsoft, AWS, and Google is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial insight with the ability to develop strategic plans in partnership with company and partner executives, including challenging existing frameworks.
  • Proven analytical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and effective decision-making to achieve results.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, including negotiation skills and capability to present to varied audiences.
  • Expertise in leveraging influence beyond direct authority.
  • Commitment to process excellence and compliance with policy standards.
