Job Overview

We seek an experienced and refined Head Concierge to oversee our Concierge services. This leader will craft superior, tailor-made guest experiences by anticipating needs and consistently upholding luxury service standards. Managing the Concierge team while fostering robust connections with guests, hotel departments, and external providers is essential. The position emphasizes leadership, discretion, VIP guest management, comprehensive local insight, and interdepartmental collaboration common to luxury hospitality.

Key Duties

• Manage daily functions of Concierge, Bell Desk, Doorman, and guest services teams.
• Guide, mentor, and enhance the Concierge team to exceed service expectations.
• Ensure smooth, customized guest journeys from arrival to check-out.
• Proactively address guest requests, notably for VIP and VVIP clientele.
• Support restaurant bookings, transportation, tours, event planning, and local adventures.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi's luxury dining, attractions, entertainment, and services.
• Establish and sustain relationships with external service providers and partners.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to guarantee seamless service delivery.
• Professionally manage guest issues and complaints promptly.
• Lead daily briefings, schedule staff, and track team performance metrics.
• Ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Protect guest confidentiality at all times.

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 to 5 years in a similar leadership role within luxury 5-star hotels or resorts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Concierge or Guest Services teams.
• Strong expertise about Abu Dhabi and UAE luxury lifestyle, including dining, attractions, and transport.
• Experience managing complex VIP and VVIP guest requests.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; other languages are advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Confident, personable, well-groomed, and professional demeanor.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-pressure setting.
• Commercially savvy with a focus on enhancing guest value.
• Familiarity with hotel management software and Microsoft Office; Opera PMS knowledge is a plus.
• Possession of a UAE driving license is beneficial.
