Hard Services Consultant – Mechanical

Role Overview

The role of Hard Services Consultant – Mechanical involves orchestrating the planning and execution of the Mechanical Annual Maintenance Plan alongside the Facilities Management Service Provider (FMS) and subcontractors, ensuring all processes align with industry benchmarks and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards. Additionally, the consultant must be conversant with electrical requirements to act as a deputy when necessary. The position is located in Ha'il, Saudi Arabia, and offers a salary of SAR 25,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the smooth execution of maintenance operations covering all hard service utilities such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Verify that all facilities management (FM) activities strictly adhere to prevailing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Assess and enhance technical proposals and FM solutions that promote superior service quality.
• Guarantee that all facilities and utilities receive maintenance in accordance with high-quality standards.
• Create continuous improvement strategies and adopt best practices to maintain consistently excellent service delivery.
• Develop and regularly update standard operating procedures, contingency and emergency response plans, preventive maintenance schedules, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Supervise daily operations managed by the FM contractor to ensure compliance and performance quality.
• Take accountability for all assets handed over under this contract.
• Review training standards for all FMS hard services personnel and provide feedback aligned with industry best practices.
• Implement the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) procedures, including managing observations and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to verify the FMS complies with contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLA), and health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree specializing in mechanical facilities management.
• Hold certification from the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM).
• Proficiency in English evidenced by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or an equivalent qualification.

Additional Information

The candidate must be capable of overseeing both mechanical and electrical aspects to provide comprehensive management coverage. The consultancy is based in Ha'il, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
