About Cooinda Lodge Kakadu
Cooinda Lodge Kakadu is a distinctive resort located within the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory, Australia. Operated under Accor's Hotel Management Agreement alongside the Djigardaba Enterprise Aboriginal Corporation, the lodge offers varied accommodations, including lodge rooms, eco-tents, and campgrounds. Role Responsibilities
- Carry out daily inspections and minor repairs such as fixing leaking taps, changing light bulbs, clearing pathways, inspecting and cleaning air conditioning filters, and maintaining pool filters.
- Maintain guest facilities and lodge equipment including air-conditioning cleaning and pool upkeep tasks.
- Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance activities like servicing generators, inspecting roofing and water heaters, and conducting pest and termite inspections.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role with knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and general repairs.
- Be dependable and dedicated, adaptable to shift work, capable of multitasking, and managing time effectively in a dynamic hospitality setting.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and commitment to guest satisfaction, safety, and adherence to Accor's Heartist values.
