Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping

Position Overview

Join JW Marriott in Bengaluru as a Guest Service Associate in Housekeeping, where your prompt response to guest and departmental requests ensures exceptional service. Manage the housekeeping cart by restocking supplies and transporting it to designated areas efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Access guest rooms following proper procedures, verify vacancy before entry.
• Replenish guest room amenities and supplies to maintain comfort.
• Change and replace linens and towels, make beds, and fold terry.
• Perform thorough cleaning of bathrooms and remove trash, used linens, and room service items.
• Inspect to ensure all room appliances are present and functional.
• Organize and straighten furniture, desks, and appliances; dust, polish, and eliminate marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and conduct floor care in guest rooms and hallways.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety and security protocols, report hazards or accidents promptly, and participate in ongoing safety training.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Provide warm, courteous greetings to guests, anticipate their needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and support teamwork to achieve shared objectives.
• Execute physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds independently and over 25 pounds with assistance, maneuvering loaded housekeeping carts across varied surfaces, and performing repetitive movements including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Education: No high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Work Experience: No prior related experience necessary.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License/Certification: None required.
