Role Overview
The Guest Service Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience by welcoming and seating guests, taking their orders accurately, delivering food and beverages efficiently, and handling billing procedures smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, assist them to their tables, and provide menus.
- Respond to queries about the menu, clarify daily special offerings, and record any dietary restrictions or allergy information.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring timely clearing of plates after courses.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar personnel to communicate special requests or any service delays.
- Manage billing by presenting correct checks, processing payments accurately, and preparing the station for subsequent shifts.
