Paires is an AI-centric fundraising platform that connects startup founders with suitable investors from a vast global network and facilitates warm outreach that leads to meetings. The company operates profitably with a small, senior, and agile team.

This position is for a GTM Engineer responsible for managing the entire top-of-funnel process. This involves creating and maintaining a data and automation system that identifies the right people at optimal moments to convert them into meaningful meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the outreach engine that drives initial contacts.
• Consolidate various data sources into a single, clean data framework by ingesting, deduplicating, and enriching the information.
• Create targeting systems that pinpoint the ideal customer profile (ICP) and the best timing for outreach.
• Maintain and enhance data quality through domain matching, entity resolution, and data enrichment.
• Oversee the operational health of the live engine, including deliverability, suppression protocols, and tracking outcomes like meetings and replies, feeding results back into the data.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience managing top-of-funnel initiatives and successfully generating meetings.
• Deep, sustained work with at least one defined ICP, navigating challenging sales processes rather than superficial or easy ones.
• Strong command and understanding of key metrics such as volume, reply rates, and booking rates, including the ability to identify contacts not worth pursuing.
• Basic programming skills; writing scripts, utilizing APIs, and automation tools like n8n, Clay, and Claude Code. Familiarity with SQL or Python is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Conditions and Benefits

Compensation

The salary range for this role is between 130,000 to 220,000 Canadian dollars annually.
