Group Investment Director

Overview

Power International Holding is searching for a highly skilled Group Investment Director to spearhead the assessment, execution, and oversight of investment opportunities spanning various sectors and geographic locations. This role encompasses managing the entire investment lifecycle, including opportunity evaluation, due diligence, transaction closure, portfolio oversight, and initiatives aimed at enhancing value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the appraisal and execution of investments across diverse industries and regions.
• Perform thorough financial analyses, valuations, and investment modeling to guide decision-making.
• Manage commercial, financial, legal, and operational due diligence procedures.
• Structure and finalize transactions involving acquisitions, investments, divestitures, and strategic alliances.
• Develop investment memorandums, presentations, and actionable recommendations for senior leadership and committees.
• Track portfolio performance and uncover opportunities to generate additional value.
• Develop and sustain networks with company management, investors, lenders, and advisors.
• Assist in crafting and implementing overall investment strategies.
• Provide mentorship and direction to junior investment staff.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline; preferred qualifications include an MBA, CFA, or equivalent.
• Between 6 and 10 years in Private Equity, Principal Investments, Infrastructure Investing, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development.
• Documented success in managing complex investment deals from initiation through portfolio oversight.
• Mastery of financial modeling, valuation methods, and corporate finance principles.
• Experience in leading intricate due diligence processes.
• Strong knowledge of M&A, capital structuring, and governance frameworks.
• Industry experience in Infrastructure, Energy, Digital Infrastructure, Mining, Industrials, or Financial Services is highly advantageous.
• Excellent skills in analysis, commercial insight, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Effective written and oral communication skills suited for senior executive and committee presentations.
• Capacity to juggle numerous transactions and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
