Group Financial Controller

About the Role

This is an exciting chance for a qualified accountant to join an expanding firm based in South Dublin as the Group Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will be instrumental in leading the finance department, enhancing financial controls, and aiding the company's ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead monthly management accounts, oversee group consolidation processes, and manage overall financial reporting.
• Manage budgeting processes, forecasting, cash flow control, and financial modeling activities.
• Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and statutory compliance across the organization.
• Act as a strategic business partner to operations teams to drive improved financial results and profitability.
• Lead and mentor finance team members, supporting their professional growth.
• Implement enhancements in finance systems focusing on automation and efficiency improvements.
• Support acquisition activities, integration efforts, and wider strategic growth projects.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent certification.
• Possesses at least five years of experience post-qualification.
• Has previously held roles as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager.
• Demonstrates expertise in group reporting, management accounting, and commercial finance.
• Experienced in managing finances across multiple operational sites.
• Exhibits strong leadership qualities along with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
