Role Overview

This key role within the international Group Finance team offers significant autonomy and direct engagement with management.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements at group level in accordance with HGB and preferably IFRS standards.
• Execution of group consolidation processes including intercompany reconciliations.
• Analysis of balance sheet and profit & loss positions and identification of significant areas for action.
• Assistance in preparing the group notes and management report.
• Act as point of contact for auditors, tax consultants, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.
• Participation in corporate transactions, integrations, and due diligence procedures.
• Development, standardization, and digitalization of accounting and reporting processes.
• Support finance transformation projects including ERP and consolidation system implementations.
• Close collaboration with finance, controlling, and management teams on national and international levels.

Candidate Profile

• A successfully completed degree with a focus on accounting, finance, controlling, or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, group reporting, or auditing.
• Solid expertise in accounting under HGB standards.
• Proven experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and group consolidations.
• Proficient use of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent command of German and good English skills.
• Structured, independent, and analytical working style.
