Groundskeeper

Position Overview

This role is responsible for maintaining the outdoor areas of the property to ensure they present a neat and attractive appearance. Duties include lawn care such as mowing, edging, and leaf raking, as well as upkeep of flower beds, baskets, and boxes through watering, weed removal, and trimming. The candidate will also manage the cleanliness and fueling of all equipment after use and ensure external trash bins are emptied and cleaned.

Grounds and Equipment Maintenance

The position involves upkeep of grounds features like fountains and planters, including cleaning, repairing, and replacing parts as needed. Sidewalks, driveways, cart paths, and parking lots are maintained by filling cracks and holes and performing other repairs. The role requires operating various vehicles such as tractors, trucks, and utility vehicles to transport supplies and equipment.

Safety, Standards, and Physical Requirements

• Adhere strictly to all safety and security policies and report any defective equipment, accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a professional and clean uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect confidentiality and company assets.
• Assist team members in achieving shared goals.
• Perform visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery to identify defects.
• Physically demanding tasks include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds unaided, maneuvering over uneven surfaces or ladders, and employing fine and gross motor skills for handling objects.
• If applicable, perform snow removal and ice management duties.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Work Experience: Less than one year of relevant experience.
• Supervisory Experience: Not required.
• License or Certifications: None needed.

Additional Information

This role is a non-management position based at Ras Abu Abboud Street, Doha, Qatar. It is not remote; attendance on-site is required.
