Role Overview
We are seeking a Grocery Shift Lead to oversee operations at our Wolt Market store in Burmarrad, Malta. This role involves leading and inspiring the Grocery Associate team to maintain high-quality service standards. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will contribute to strategies enhancing customer satisfaction and resolving daily store challenges while fostering a positive team spirit.
Responsibilities
- Manage efficient store operations and serve as the primary contact in the Store Manager's absence.
- Assist and support order fulfillment processes.
- Address and resolve team-related issues promptly.
- Oversee workload distribution, operational efficiency, administrative tasks, and team wellbeing during shifts.
- Gather and relay feedback to improve store performance.
- Engage actively in the continuous development of store operations.
- Promote a collaborative and enthusiastic team environment.
Requirements
- Residence in Malta with a valid legal right to work.
- Experience leading a team or working as a Grocery Associate at Wolt Market or similar grocery retail settings.
- Strong ability to learn quickly and juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive mindset combined with a customer-focused approach.
- Positive, can-do attitude suited to fast-paced, entrepreneurial conditions.
- Comfortable with technology and digital tools.
- Flexible availability including daytime, evenings, and weekends.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Professional proficiency in English language communication.
Terms and Conditions
The role requires working seven days a week with variable shifts aligned to the store and delivery schedules. The position offers an hourly wage of €8.65, with actual pay determined by factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and market conditions.
