Typical Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer support by responding to inquiries, stocking items, and suggesting creative uses for products throughout the market
• Maintain product freshness, proper rotation, full stock, and accurate signage
• Operate equipment including pallet jacks, lifts, carts, hand trucks, and ladders
• Help with promotional displays and departmental presentations
• Keep the department clean, attractive, and safe
• Assist co-workers with a cooperative attitude and team spirit
• Adhere to safety, security, and sustainability policies
• Uphold the company's core values and brand standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in grocery operations
• Passion for grocery retail with an appreciation for organized environments
• Excellent customer service skills characterized by patience, composure, and positivity under pressure
• Motivated, adaptive, and skilled at building diverse relationships
• Dependable with strong self-discipline to manage department tasks efficiently and accurately
• Clear communicator, effective listener, and proactive in seeking solutions
• Flexible availability for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays (closed only on Christmas Day)
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, along with good manual dexterity and stamina for bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and prolonged standing
• Must be at least 18 years old

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay at $18.40 per hour, with potential to earn up to $26.85 per hour
