Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the grocery department's cleanliness and organization, ensuring proper zoning for a welcoming shopping environment at all times.
• Perform regular rotation of products, removing expired or damaged items to uphold product freshness and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate pricing and product signing; adhere to procedures for ordering, clearances, markups, markdowns, labeling, and price flagging.
• Comply with food safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to create a safe and hygienic workspace.
• Stock and restock merchandise efficiently; handle downstocking, apply product protection, and execute shelf organization including modular setups and flex modulars.
• Follow all health and safety policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business needs.

Job Challenges

• Manage high work volumes efficiently during overnight shifts to maintain focus and energy.
• Handle physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizational duties with consistent attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.
