Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the grocery department with cleanliness, organization, and correct zoning to ensure a customer-ready environment at all times.
• Regularly rotate products and remove expired or damaged items to ensure freshness and uphold quality standards.
• Accurately price and sign merchandise while following established protocols for ordering, clearance, markdowns, labeling, and flagging.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, handling, and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
• Stock merchandise thoroughly, complete downstocking as needed, apply product protection, and execute modular displays including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
• Be willing to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store operations and provide consistent customer service.

Challenges in This Role

• Manage high task volumes efficiently within a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight hours, by maintaining energy and focus.
• Complete substantial restocking and recovery tasks accurately and punctually under time constraints.
• Perform physically demanding duties such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and repetitive stocking and zoning tasks with consistent attention to detail.

Compensation

The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at 20.01 CAD.
