Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the produce area at all times to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and rotate produce regularly, removing any expired items to guarantee product freshness and quality.
• Ensure all produce items are priced correctly and clearly signed following all necessary procedures for ordering, markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Adhere strictly to food safety protocols including sanitation, temperature control, proper food handling, and monitoring sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock and restock merchandise as required, use product protection when necessary, and arrange product displays and shelving to keep the department fully stocked and visually appealing.
• Comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace environment.
• Exhibit flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs and ensure continuous service quality.

Potential Challenges

• Managing a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced setting, especially during overnight shifts, while maintaining energy and focus.
• Handling physical demands such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting inventory or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Consistently performing repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing with accuracy and attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $18.70 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
