Job description
Role Overview
The Over-the-Counter Associate is responsible for supporting customers and ensuring the assigned department area is properly organized and well maintained. Reporting to the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager, this role requires executing delegated tasks while delivering outstanding customer service aligned with company's core values.
Key Duties
- Protect patient privacy by strictly adhering to practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
- Work with the Pharmacy Manager to boost department sales and profitability.
- Manage stock rotation and ensure products are up to date, removing expired items.
- Keep the department orderly by zoning designated areas efficiently.
- Follow established protocols for ordering, clearance, price adjustments, and labeling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, ensuring no clutter, foreign objects, or liquids obstruct the area.
- Achieve zero pricing mistakes by complying with scanning accuracy standards.
- Calibrate the equipment used in prescription filling processes as required.
Additional Information
The starting pay rate for this position is $17.75 per hour.
