Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper zoning within the grocery section to keep it customer-ready at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired or damaged products to preserve product freshness and quality.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately signed, priced, and labeled, adhering to established procedures around ordering, promotions, and pricing.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to preserve a hygienic and safe work environment.
• Keep the department fully stocked by managing merchandise stocking, downstocking tasks, applying product protection, and setting modular displays, including flex modulars and shelf caps.
• Comply strictly with all health and safety standards and organizational policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.
• Demonstrate flexibility by being available to work various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.

Challenges to Anticipate

• Handle a heavy workload efficiently in a fast-moving environment, managing overnight shifts thoughtfully to maintain focus and energy.
• Meet high task volumes by accurately completing restocking and recovery activities within required timeframes.
• Engage in physically demanding activities, including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive tasks like stocking and organizing with attention to detail to uphold store standards consistently.

The starting wage for this role is $17.75 per hour.
