Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and verifying payroll transactions and payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Examine payroll data meticulously to confirm completeness and correctness of records.
• Reconcile transactions and account details to detect and resolve discrepancies.
• Support client onboarding and registration processes effectively.
• Oversee information flow between payroll systems and Inland Revenue to ensure compliance.
• Address issues related to payroll filings or payments professionally and promptly.
• Provide clear, helpful responses to client inquiries.
• Collaborate with Inland Revenue officials to investigate and rectify information or transaction discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established operational procedures.
• Identify and propose simple improvements to enhance team workflows.

Additional Information

This position involves working with concepts such as PAYE, Payday Filing, and trust accounts, which will be explained and taught during the onboarding process. This role is part of Datacom's Early Careers Programme, featuring dedicated mentoring, events, induction, and ongoing support for 12 months to foster career progression and peer networking.
