Joining the Aviation team in Auckland as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in the 2027 Graduate Program offers an opportunity to apply electrical engineering skills in airport and airfield projects starting February 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and delivering electrical engineering solutions for airports and airfields.
  • Undertake electrical calculations, prepare drawings, specifications, reports, and project documentation.
  • Work on aviation infrastructure projects including airfield ground lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Utilize engineering software and digital tools to facilitate design, analysis, and project completion.
  • Engage in design reviews, site inspections, and project meetings under mentorship from experienced engineers.
  • Develop technical and consultancy capabilities while gaining knowledge of operational, safety, and regulatory aspects of airport environments.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduates or upcoming graduates by end of 2026 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A keen interest in aviation infrastructure and airport-related projects.
  • Strong abilities in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, attention to detail, and proactive work ethic.
  • Residence in Auckland with readiness to join the Graduate Program cohort in February 2027.

Graduate Development Program

This two-year program is designed to ease the transition into consulting careers, supported by peers, managers, and mentors. Collaboration across disciplines and client interactions will help build comprehensive technical and consulting skills.
