Job description

Job Overview

We seek a Government Relations Officer to join the Human Resources team at Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard. This role involves managing all interactions with government entities concerning hotel staff, guaranteeing adherence to Saudi governmental regulations, and maintaining thorough documentation on official platforms. This position is essential in enabling smooth HR operations and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle processing and tracking of work permits, Iqama renewals, visas, and other government-related matters.
  • Administer HR processes using government portals like Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, Mudad, and other relevant systems.
  • Liaise with government authorities to ensure timely completion of employee documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Keep precise records of employee documents, expiration dates, and government transactions.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding by completing necessary government formalities.
  • Prepare and submit official applications, reports, and communications to government bodies.
  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi Labor Law and other applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with Finance and HR on government fees, payments, and approvals.
  • Guide employees regarding government procedures and required documentation.
  • Undertake other government relations and HR support tasks as delegated by the HR Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
  • Between two and three years' experience in Government Relations or HR Operations, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Thorough familiarity with Saudi government platforms including Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, and Mudad.
  • Solid understanding of Saudi Labor Law and governmental procedures.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong organizational abilities combined with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to confidentiality.
