Role Overview

This position involves expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for various Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Compute, Network, Storage, IAM, and Kubernetes. The expert will address incidents ranging from connectivity issues to security and performance degradations within the supported environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve incidents impacting GCP services such as Compute, Network, Storage, IAM, and Kubernetes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network-related problems including connectivity, routing, and VPN infrastructure.
• Address issues related to Palo Alto, FortiGate, and FortiWAF components specified in the scope.
• Provide technical support for backup and restore operations including incident resolution.
• Analyze and remediate performance and resource availability problems affecting service delivery.
• Troubleshoot database connectivity, availability, and performance issues.
• Handle security and infrastructure incidents escalated by GAC, ensuring resolution and mitigation.
• Coordinate escalations with Google support and third-party OEMs as necessary.
• Document troubleshooting activities thoroughly and produce root cause analyses for major or repeat incidents.
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions to GAC teams on supported systems, troubleshooting protocols, and incident management procedures.
