Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Global Tax Manager to lead and manage tax matters across WaterWipes as we expand our international footprint. This role requires a hands-on approach, engaging closely with various business units to embed tax considerations into daily decisions and overarching strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee the global tax calendar ensuring all compliance obligations are accurately met within deadlines.
  • Lead governance, compliance, and risk management related to tax across multiple countries.
  • Manage transfer pricing policies and update them in line with business developments.
  • Support indirect tax functions including VAT, customs, e-invoicing, and international tax rules.
  • Integrate tax requirements within SAP systems, finance transformation projects, and digital reporting frameworks.
  • Enhance control mechanisms, improve tax-related data quality, and streamline operational methods.
  • Deliver clear, commercially insightful tax advice to senior leaders.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished tax professional with a proactive mindset and problem-solving skills. Experience in both Big 4 accounting and in-house tax roles within multinational companies is highly preferred. The individual should have a comprehensive understanding of both direct and indirect taxation in a fast-evolving business environment and be comfortable navigating complexities with practical solutions.

  • Drive improvements in tax processes, controls, and reporting methodologies.
  • Forge productive partnerships across multiple departments including Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, and IT.

  • Leverage automation and technology, including AI, to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain a balance between everyday compliance duties and long-term strategic objectives.
