Job description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manager to lead our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) based in Hyderabad, India. This key role involves managing round-the-clock security operations encompassing team leadership, incident handling, alarm and video monitoring, threat intelligence analysis, travel risk management, executive protection, event security, quality assurance, and ongoing operational enhancements. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader capable of managing immediate priorities while developing scalable systems to safeguard our people, assets, operations, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong strategic direction and guidance to a 24/7 GSOC team responsible for global monitoring, responding to incidents, managing intelligence flows, alarm systems, and operational communications.
  • Oversee staffing, shift scheduling, onboarding processes, training initiatives, performance evaluation, and continuous personnel development fostering a culture centered on accountability, customer focus, and operational preparedness.
  • Serve as the primary incident manager for regular, urgent, and critical incidents ensuring prompt evaluation, decision-making, communication, documentation, and action follow-up.
  • Maintain and update incident response protocols, escalation procedures, and communication workflows coordinating with security, facilities, human resources, workplace safety, emergency responders, and other involved stakeholders.
  • Manage alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and video analytics operations aiming to enhance threat detection, minimize false alarms, and improve response effectiveness. Collaborate with physical security, facilities, and technology teams to identify patterns, resolve equipment issues, and optimize system performance using platforms such as Genetec, Ambient.ai, and ServiceNow.
  • Lead the threat intelligence program collecting and analyzing data from sources like Ontic, LifeRaft, TR Clear, Everbridge, and open-source intelligence to produce risk assessments, situational reports, briefings, and executive summaries to support proactive risk mitigation.
  • Support travel risk monitoring, communications for travelers, executive protection operations, high-profile visits, company events, and special security activities coordinating with security, HR, travel, and crisis management teams.
  • Act as a liaison between the GSOC and regional security, enablement services, facilities, HR, security technology, and workplace teams collaborating across Asia Pacific, Americas, and other regions for information sharing and global operational alignment.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes evaluating communications, incident reports, intelligence products, and other deliverables against standards to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of detailed, accurate, and timely incident documentation capturing all relevant information, responses, escalations, and final outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as Security Management, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or related disciplines, or alternatively, a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in GSOC operations, crisis management, or security leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing GSOC teams including alarm handling, CCTV operations, incident response, and security technology management.
  • Proficient with video surveillance systems, access control, alarm technology, threat intelligence platforms, case management tools, Microsoft 365 suite, and mass notification systems.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams to troubleshoot system issues, refine workflows, and deploy security technology enhancements.

Essential Skills

  • Strong leadership capabilities with focus on coaching, scheduling, team development, and performance management oriented towards accountability and service excellence.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of alarms, CCTV, video analytics, access control, and integrated security technologies with practical experience using Genetec, Ambient.ai, ServiceNow, and related platforms.
  • Expertise in threat intelligence collection, assessment, analysis, and communication utilizing tools such as Ontic, LifeRaft, TR Clear, Everbridge, and open-source intelligence sources.
  • Competency in Microsoft 365 applications enabling the creation of professional emails, reports, presentations, dashboards, and other leadership reporting materials.
  • Sound decision-making skills and the ability to maintain composure and clear communication during emergency incidents managing resources and escalations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with global, regional, technical, and business partners.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with proven ability to conduct quality analyses of communications and reports, identify trends, enhance processes, and implement sustainable improvements.
  • Adaptable to evolving security threats, technologies, business priorities, and global operational environments.
