About the Role
A prominent global company is looking to expand its dedicated payroll team in Dublin by onboarding a Global Payroll Specialist. This is a dynamic role ideal for professionals eager to provide exceptional payroll services across various countries within the EMEA region.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute monthly and ad-hoc payroll processes for multiple EMEA territories using Workday HRIS alongside external payroll providers.
- Guarantee adherence to statutory payroll regulations and collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, and stakeholder groups to uphold compliance.
- Manage payment processing, account reconciliations, and compile documentation essential for audit and compliance purposes.
- Address employee payroll queries through ServiceNow while meeting established SLA deadlines.
- Develop and maintain payroll knowledge base articles to facilitate employee self-service.
- Evaluate current payroll procedures to identify areas for enhancement and support various payroll projects or system implementations.
- Provide assistance during audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, by generating precise payroll documentation.
- Help resolve inquiries raised by government agencies and update payroll policies and procedural documents accordingly.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of three years’ experience managing multi-national payrolls within a large international enterprise.
- Comprehensive understanding of multi-national payroll compliance and its repercussions on financial reporting and statutory obligations.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities with the skill to cultivate effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions, and data analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with payroll and HR systems such as UKG/IIPay, ServiceNow, and Workday HR platforms.
- Knowledgeable about equity compensation mechanisms including Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP), Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Stock Options.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for efficient communication across regional teams.
