Position Overview

Pixis is looking for a meticulous and experienced Global Payroll Specialist to become part of our energetic team. This role involves managing payroll processes across several countries, ensuring precision, adherence to regulations, and smooth payroll execution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive payroll processing for employees in multiple regions, including the United States, Europe, and Asia.
  • Ensure timely and correct disbursement of salaries, wages, and benefits following local laws and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other relevant departments to collect payroll data such as onboarding, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
  • Examine and validate payroll inputs like timesheets, bonuses, commissions, and deductions to maintain compliance with local tax laws.
  • Generate and submit payroll reports, tax documents, and statutory filings to appropriate authorities for each country.
  • Keep abreast of updates to payroll regulations and compliance demands internationally and adapt payroll procedures accordingly.
  • Address employee and stakeholder inquiries regarding payroll promptly and professionally, resolving discrepancies effectively.
  • Work with external payroll vendors, tax consultants, and legal teams to ensure compliance and resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Maintain payroll records securely and uphold confidentiality in accordance with data protection laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of global payroll experience, ideally within a multinational corporation or payroll services environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and legal requirements across various countries.
  • Skilled in payroll management software such as ADP, Workday, SAP, along with strong Microsoft Excel capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical aptitude, and proficiency in handling large datasets accurately.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet strict deadlines, and perform efficiently in a dynamic work setting.
  • Certification in payroll management (e.g., CPP, FPC) is advantageous.
