Job description
Role Overview
As a Global Operations Center (GOC) Analyst specializing in Data Centre operations, you will be tasked with overseeing and supporting vital network and data center functions within a continuous 24/7 operational framework. This position requires providing first-line technical support, managing incidents effectively, troubleshooting problems, maintaining communication with customers, and escalating issues appropriately to guarantee service uptime and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage in real-time surveillance, incident handling, and customer assistance for critical data center and network systems.
- Manage service tickets, monitor alarms, isolate faults, and collaborate with technical teams to maintain seamless operations.
- Come equipped with experience in network operations, command center or technical support roles, preferably within global operation teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in Network Operations Center (NOC), Contact Center, or technical support roles.
- Have foundational knowledge of data center infrastructure and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Strong troubleshooting aptitude paired with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with HVAC and electrical systems relevant to data center environments.
- Proficiency or exposure to ServiceNow is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving proficiency.
Working Conditions
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts within a 24/7 operational setup.
- Shift schedule consists of 12-hour fixed shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, spanning approximately 3-4 days weekly including weekends and public holidays.
- Work location is based in Changi, East Region, Singapore.
